Flirty Gift Ideas

The CTMH Cricut Artiste Cartridge makes gift giving fun and easy – as well as beautiful!

One of my favorite quick treats is using these great 1″x8″ clear bags from Clearbags.com.  You can fill them with any number of small candies.  I usually use m&m’s or jelly beans in the color that matches the occasion.  The word strip from the Flirty paper pack makes a great tag. I used several shapes from CTMH Cricut Artiste Cartridge for the tag and leaves.  Texture your pieces to bring them to life and give them more character.  Simply fold several times or carefully crinkle up and lightly sponge in Chocolate.  I used liquid glass on one of the leaves and the “Gratitude” tag.  It’s all tied together with hemp.

Save fun containers to decorate.  This one is a Tootsie Roll Tube that opens at both ends.  I covered it in Flirty B&T paper, created the tag from the word strip and used the CTMH Cricut Artiste Thanksgiving napkin ring to wrap around the tube.  I also used CTMH Color-Ready Arbor Wooden shapes with ink and liquid glass and a flower from the CTMH Autumn Lane Assortment – all wrapped up in Hemp.

This fun Pumpkin is also cut from the Artiste Cartridge and could be used to package a gift or used as a fall decoration.  Try 3 sizes together in a grouping or on place settings on your Thanksgiving table.  I used a tag from the Flirty Paper Strip, a flower from the Autumn Lane Assortment and a big wooden button with a Chocolate Waxy Flax bow.  Don’t forget to distress and add color to your paper before assembling.  I also love using my paper as curling ribbon.  Just cut in strips and use your scissors to curl it.

The Cricut Artiste has lots of wonderful holiday/season related cupcake liners.  You can use them for many more things than cupcakes!  Like this decorative/gift item.  I made a grouping of 3 of these in different sizes.  I simply covered a styrofoam ball in our Bakers Twine and topped with a flower from the Autumn Lane Collection.  You can also use the Cupcake liners as nut cups or candy cups (see sample in above photo).

Actually, the ones pictured come separate – just like shown. I then just stamped and liquid glassed over them. I love the new wood accents, great variety!
