Spooktacular Luminaries!

Lyndsi Jar Luminaries

My daughter, Lyndsi was visiting and made these fun Luminaries at a Girls Night activity with my mom and her girls.  My sister Wendi put this activity together for everyone with some miscellaneous jars (glass or plastic works just fine), tissue paper, and black Cardstock paper for  the faces.  You can cut your own spooky faces but for these, we put some miscellaneous fun Halloween faces from the CTMH Cricut Cartridges onto CCR and manipulated the pieces to be the size and shape we wanted for the jars.  Frank’s hair is actually a strip of grass welded to a rectangle and sized just right.

To assemble simply apply mod-podge to the outside of your jar, apply colored tissue paper, adhere the faces and give it all a finishing coat of mod-podge.  You can string Christmas lights throughout the jars or add a tea light to make them shine.

Have a Happy 2013 Halloween!
